Electronics Recycling at Twin Hickory

RecycleDo you have some old electronics taking up space in your house? Would you like to get rid of them but aren’t sure the best way to do it? Bring them to the Twin Hickory Library this Saturday, April 26 from 10am – 1pm!

Staff from Henrico County Solid Waste Division and the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority will be accepting your old electronics.

What can you recycle?

  • Computer systems (hard drive, CPU, monitor)
  • Computer accessories (cables, wires, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.)
  • Printers, scanners & copiers
  • Fax machines
  • VCRs & camcorders
  • Stereos
  • Microwaves
  • Televisions ($7 fee)

There are a few things they can’t recycle.

  • Refrigerators
  • Dehumidifiers
  • Air conditioners
  • Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs

We hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity to safely dispose of your old electronics.

    Will computer hard drives be quoted or destroyed in some way?
