We are happy to announce that the Gayton Library will reopen on Tuesday, June 26th! They have made so many changes that you will think it is a completely different place. In a way it is. The inside has been completely updated with new furniture, fixtures, carpet, computers and collection. We think you will like it.
We’ve uploaded some pictures to our Flickr site that show the progress of the renovation so you can get an idea of how much the library has changed.
One of the Gayton staff did a video tour for us before the furniture, shelving, computers and collection moved in. It’s great! It gives us a good look at the layout. You get a good idea of just how much has changed in this very popular library.
One thing hasn’t changed. The fantastic staff! They will all back and look forward to showing you their new library.
There will be a reopening celebration on June 25th from 6-9. All are welcome!
