Now, a little about Ms. Marr from her publisher:
Melissa Marr grew up believing in faeries, ghosts, and various other creatures. After teaching college literature for a decade, she applied her fascination with folklore to writing. Wicked Lovely was her first novel. Currently, Marr lives in the Washington, D.C., area, writes full-time, and still believes in faeries and ghosts.
She is best known for her faerie fantasy series that began with the book Wicked Lovely. There are now four books in this fascinating series. It is highly recommended for teens and adults alike. You should read them quickly. Wicked Lovely is set to be adapted into a movie very soon.
She will visit the Tuckahoe Library on Thursday Oct. 21 at 6:30pm. A reception, book sale, and signing will follow the talk. No registration is needed, but space is limited so come early. This is sure to be a memorable evening.
